The ABATE Spring Opener was June 20th - 22nd. Several members attended the even including Rob, Dan, and Tony. During the event one individual approached Rob and after some discussion accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior!! That is awesome!! That is what we are out there for. Several other Christian bike groups were present including the biker church out of Tacoma, Washington, who had a tent setup and had live music for rally participants.
The 2009 Washington State Rally has come and gone. Several members made the trip to Ephrata to attend. We had a great time. It wasn't too hot, and it didn't rain. We participated in the parade, the bike games and the ice cream social, and made some new friends. Next year we would like to get even more GGR members to make the trip. Pictures are available in the gallery. Select GGR Gallery from the main menu, then choose 2009 rallys, washington state rally.
First Friday for June in Hood River was on the 5th. John, Dennis, and Deanna Ray participated in the event. We did not have a table setup as it was very windy. The next First Friday is July 3rd. See everyone there!!
The 32nd annual Fossil campout was May 22nd - 25th. Paul, Rob and John went to the event and camped out over the weekend. Redeemed Riders from Salem were there with the CMA trailer and we served free water and coffee to the rally participants. Click here to see some pictures of the event or go to the GGR gallery in the main menu.
Run for the Sonhas come and gone. Gorge Gospel Riders raised $625 in support of the CMA ministry. We had awesome weather in Maupin for lunch the sun was out and it warmed up nicely as you can see from the picture to the right. After lunch we rode from Maupin to Fossil. As we got to Antelope we got caught in a torrential downpour of rain and hail. I have never ridden through anything like that, but I actually enjoyed it, though those that didn't have full face helmets weren't liking the hail too much. All in all it was great ride and a great day!

PURPOSE
The purpose of GGR is to show the love of Jesus Christ to the motorcycling world. Gorge Gospel Riders support of the purpose of CMA is three fold:
Provide and encourage members to be active in testimony and Christian witnessing to all motorcyclists.
Provide a Christian fellowship ride group.
Provide an evangelistic association for motorcycling.

Equip our members through ministry training. The ministry training will align itself with Biblical truths.
Model a servant's attitude to our members as well as to those we are trying to reach (ie Here if you need us).
Provide quality products to our member for aid in evangelistic outreach.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
The Chrisitian Motorcyclists Association and Gorge Gospel Riders are interdenominational and evangelistic in nature. We believe in the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God. We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the virgin birth and deity of Christ, in His explicit atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension. We believe in the sanctifiying power of the Holy Spirit who enables a believer to live holy, and in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
